It's ugly but the PIRATES move to 16 -0!
5/12/09:

The Pirates defense looked sloppy Tuesday night as they committed 9 errors in the game. Fortunately, their bats were on fire as they collected 11 hits on the night and racked up 20 runs on the Dodgers pitching. After jumping out to a 11 - 0 first inning lead, the Pirates D handed the Dodgers 5 runs in the 1st, 2 runs in the 2nd & 2 more in the 3rd to cut the lead to 11 - 9. The Pirates added a few insurance runs in the top of the 4th inning to take a 14 - 9 lead when Ray Findley tripled home 3 runs after the Dodger's had intentionally walked JO to get to Ray (way to respond Mr. Findley!!!). Niko Navarro breezed through the heart of the Dodgers order in the bottom of the 4th to maintain the 5 run lead before the Pirates opened the game up for good with 6 runs in the top of the 5th and a big 20 - 9 lead. Ray Findley shut the door in the bottom of the 5th by striking out the final Dodger batter with a "dirty" (as Diego Cuan described it) knuckleball.

Offensively, Shane Holt hit his 1st HOME RUN of the season. Niko Navarro & Jonathan Olsen had two hits each. Ray Findley, Ayden Cuan, Jarrett Perry, all had hits before our 10-11-12 hitters (Brian Fox, Joey Pekarcik & David Ruize) closed the night with back to back to back RBI doubles.
